Description
Fault Locators are a special class of light sources that emit a high intensity visible Red Laser into
a patch cord or cable. This light can be used to both check the continuity of a fibre and identify
the fibres far end, or it can be used to visually identify the location of a fibre break. Most Fault
Locators come optimized for singlemode fibre use; however they work equally as well with
multimode fibre.
